After losing yet another game, a 4-0 shutout to the Flyers no less, Thrashers GM Don Waddell has apparently had enough.
According to a report from The Sports Network of Canada, Atlanta has fired coach Bob Hartley as the Thrashers are in the midst of their worst start in franchise history (0-6-0).
Assistant coach Brad McCrimmon, not Hartley, was running the team's practice Wednesday morning, fueling more speculation that the bench boss was in danger of losing his job.
Thrashers GM Don Waddell told ESPN.com's Scott Burnside before Atlanta's game vs. New Jersey on Saturday that no coaching changes were imminent and that the organization was not panicking. But after a lackluster showing against the Flyers on Tuesday night, Waddell apparently changed his mind.
