Live - India v Pakistan

Gwalior: 15 November 2007
FOURTH ONE-DAY INTERNATIONAL, Gwalior:
India v Pakistan

Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik won the toss and opted to bat in the must-win fourth one-day game against India.

The tourists, who are 2-1 down in the five-match series, have not lost a day-nighter in India since the quarter-finals of the 1996 World Cup.

They brought in seamer Rao Iftikhar Anjum for slow left-armer Abdur Rehman, while India recalled opener Virender Sehwag for spinner Murali Kartik.

The last four teams which have opted to bat first in Gwalior have won the game.

0852: I have to admit, I haven't seen any of this series so far. Has it been any good? My housemate gets free crisps at work and yesterday, he reckons, he ate five bags. Is that acceptable behaviour for a 31-year-old 'man'?

0841: In a preemptive bid to stave off any accusations of partisanship towards one team or the other, I would just like to point out that India and Pakistan are my joint-second favourite cricket teams in the whole wide world and that I love all Indians and Pakistanis equally. Apart from the bloke who owns the newsagent round the corner from my mum and dad's house, who once accused me of nicking a King Size Mars Bar. I never did forgive him for that.

0834: All right? Today, we have what should be a lovely game of cricket between India and Pakistan. Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik has won the toss and chosen to bat first. The team news is that Virender Sehwag is in for Murali Kartik for India. Pakistan have left out their left-arm spinner Abdur Rahman and chosen Rao Iftikhar Anjum instead.
