1953: "Nigel Clough stood impassively to the left of the dug-out when that goal went in," reports BBC 5 Live's Darren Fletcher. Derby boss Clough made more than 300 league appearances for Forest between 1984 and 1992, scoring just over 100 goals.
1952: And we are under way at Villa Park too.
1949: GOAL Nottm Forest 1-0 Derby
I didn't even have a chance to tell you it had kicked off... Little more than a minute in and Chris Cohen's slightly deflected effort flies into the top corner to give the hosts the perfect start.
1947: A minute's silence for Paul Birch at Villa Park.
Ex-Villa player Birch dies at 46

1944: TEAM NEWS Blackburn v Sunderland
Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has made eight changes from the team that was held by Middlesbrough, with only Paul Robinson, Ryan Nelsen and Roque Santa Cruz retaining their places. Goalkeeper Craig Gordon returns for Sunderland after 10 weeks out as one of six changes from the team that drew with Newcastle on Sunday.
1943: TEAMS Everton v Liverpool
Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Lescott, Baines, Osman, Fellaini, Neville, Arteta, Pienaar, Cahill. Subs: Nash, Yobo, Van der Meyde, Castillo, Jacobsen, Rodwell, Gosling.
Liverpool: Reina, Dossena, Carragher, Skrtel, Arbeloa, Kuyt, Alonso, Gerrard, Leiva Lucas, Riera, Torres. Subs: Cavalieri, Hyypia, Agger, Benayoun, Babel, Mascherano, El Zhar.
1940: Everton play Liverpool for the fourth time this season, Blackburn are up against Sunderland for the fifth time. Forest and Derby have already played each other twice. Only three of those nine games have produced a positive result. Anyone else sensing penalty drama? I don't believe we've had a shoot-out since the first round of FA Cup 2008/9 so surely we're due one? Or two.
1937: TEAMS Nottm Forest v Derby
Nottm Forest: Smith, Chambers, Morgan, Breckin, Wilson, McCleary, Perch, McGugan, Thornhill, Cohen, Tyson. Subs: Byrne, Darlow, Bencherif, Heath, Newbold, Reid, Whitehurst.
Derby: Bywater, Connolly, Albrechtsen, McEveley, Nyatanga, Barazite, Green, Savage, Teale, Commons, Hulse. Subs: Carroll, Stewart, Ellington, Villa, Sterjovski, Todd, Pearson.
1934: "Just been in Nottingham city centre and it's buzzing, come on Forest!"

1932: "The two words I did not want to hear tonight: Dossena and Lucas! Only way they can make amends is Dossena crosses and Lucas scores."

1930: Hey, Lee from Birmingham and several others, when have you ever known me to lie to you? Re 1915: this website had more than 4m unique users - not hits - unique users. The deadline day live text got more than 9m hits. But that's it now. No more self-indulgence.
1927: TEAMS Aston Villa v Doncaster
Aston Villa: Guzan, Luke Young, Davies, Cuellar, Shorey, Gardner, Salifou, Sidwell, Ashley Young, Delfouneso, Carew. Subs: Friedel, Barry, Milner, Agbonlahor, Knight, Osbourne, Lowry.

1923: TEAM NEWS Aston Villa v Doncaster
Seven changes for Aston Villa, with Ashley Young returning after a three-game ban and taking over as skipper in the absence of the rested Gareth Barry. John Carew starts for the first time in nearly three months. Doncaster midfielder Martin Woods plays after shaking off a virus.
1921: TEAM NEWS Nottm Forest v Derby County
Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies names the same team that lost 2-0 at Cardiff on Saturday, with striker Rob Earnshaw failing to recover from a hamstring problem in time to face his old club. There are four teenagers on the Forest bench. Derby County manager Nigel Clough brings in Jay McEveley in place of Jordan Stewart and Lewin Nyatanga for the injured Miles Addison on his return to the City Ground.
1918: TEAM NEWS Everton v Liverpool
Everton striker Victor Anichebe does not even make the bench, as David Moyes names an unchanged line-up. Liverpool make two changes: Andrea Dossena replaces Fabio Aurelio, Lucas is in for Javier Mascherano.
1915: According to Martin O'Neill, the January transfer window amounts to nothing more than a "waste of a month". (Warning: blatant self-congratulations coming up) Apparently the 4m people who visited the BBC Sport website on Monday would disagree with that. But with the window frozen shut, there is now nothing but actual, real-life football to entertain us, starting with a rather tasty looking evening of FA Cup fourth-round replay action.
