Muliaina will overtake Justin Marshall as the second most-capped All Black
|
New Zealand have made three changes for Saturday's clash with France with prop Neemia Tialata, flanker Jerome Kaino and wing Cory Jane all called up.
Adam Thomson, Owen Franks and Zac Guildford make way, while full-back Mils Muliaina will become the second most-capped All Black in history.
France have also made changes with Julien Dupuy coming in at scrum-half.
And in the pack Fulgence Ouedraogo, Romain Millo-Chluski, William Servat and Fabien Barcella all return.
The French thrashed Samoa 45-5 at the Stade de France last weekend, but have reverted to the bulk of the side that beat world champions South Africa 20-13 on 13 November with prop Sylvain Marconnet and lock Sebastien Chabal given the nod.

I hope that in the coming days we will assume the status of favourites
France coach Marc Lievremont

Maxime Mermoz, Imanol Harinordoquy, Benjamin Fall and Louis Picamoles were ruled out by injury.
Les Bleus will be looking for a clean sweep of autumn international successes, and coach Marc Lievremont is pleased to be able to go into the game against the world's number one side.
"I hope that in the coming days we will assume the status of favourites," said Lievremont.
"The journey of a team's confidence and the implementation of its plans are very long processes. These last two years we have learned to be patient.
"In recent matches, New Zealand have impressed and returned to a certain level, not to mention the exceptional psychological aspect and the desire for revenge."
The only other Test between the teams at Marseille's Stade Velodrome was nine years ago, France winning 42-33.
Les Bleus stunned the All Blacks 27-22 in Dunedin in June before going down 14-10 in Wellington.

606: DEBATE
|
For New Zealand, unbeaten on their autumn tour after wins over Australia, Wales, Italy and England, hooker Corey Flynn will take his place on the bench after shaking off a hamstring problem, while Tanerau Latimer and Luke McAlister have also been included among the replacements.
"The French will be a passionate, physical side who are undefeated at home in their November Tests so it will be another huge Test for the All Blacks," said coach Graham Henry.
"The team is looking forward to the challenge."
Samoa-born Muliaina, 29, is set to move clear of Justin Marshall as New Zealand's second most-capped player with 82 caps, leaving him behind only Sean Fitzpatrick, the hooker who earned 92 caps between 1986 and 1997.
Captain and flanker Richie McCaw will win his 80th cap, making him the fourth most-capped All Black.
Meanwhile, Brad Thorn and Andy Ellis will return to New Zealand after the France Test and will miss the Barbarians clash at Twickenham which completes the tour.
