World number one Tiger Woods fired a final round 68 to win the Australian Masters title in Melbourne.
The American finished two shots clear of local hope Greg Chalmers (70) with a 14 under par total of 274.
"Now I've won on every continent, except for Antarctica," joked Woods, whose appearance at Kingston Heath was his first in Australia for 11 years.
"I just played very consistently. I wasn't trying to be overly aggressive, just trying to plot my way along."
It was the 33-year-old's seventh victory of the year and it made him only the third American to win the Australian Masters title following close friend Mark O'Meara in 1986 and Gene Littler six years earlier.
Woods started the final day in a three-way tie for the lead after struggling with his swing during a third-round 72.
But he began with a four at the par-five opening hole and then produced brilliant approach shots to set up back-to-back birdies at five and six which put him out in front on his own.
A magnificent fairway wood created another birdie opportunity at 12 which Woods did not waste, but his concentration was disturbed by a photographer at the next which cost him his only bogey of the round.
He bounced back with his fifth birdie of the day at the par-three 15th and after Chalmers failed to convert chances at 14 and 16, pars at the final three holes were enough to seal the title.
"I hit some really good iron shots and that was the whole key to the day. I didn't have a lot of long putts to make," he said.
