1442: TEAM NEWS Fulham v Sunderland
Fulham make six changes to the starting line-up that faced CSKA Sofia in midweek. Paul Konchesky, Aaron Hughes, Jonathan Greening, Damien Duff, Clint Dempsey and Erik Nevland all return. Kenwyne Jones returns to the Sunderland team after completing his three-match ban. Anton Ferdinand replaces Paulo da Silva in defence while George McCartney is not available so Kieran Richardson is set to start at left-back.

From JP in Bavarian Xmas market nightmare, via text: "I need an exit strategy! I'm strolling round a Christmas market with the Lady and her friends! Desperate to see the game at Goodison. Any suggestions Miss Cheese?"
Head for the mulled wine stall... it's all you can do

From Dave in Kettering, via text: "Re 1400: The big four are having a Sunday off? If I'm not mistaken the mighty Spurs are playing Everton at 4pm. After which we'll be five points clear of Liverpool. Who's the big four now?"

From Philip in a gloomy Stockholm, via text: "It started getting dark here just after I got up this morning. What better way to lighten up my day than following a rare Spurs away win while drinking loads of mulled wine."

1429: Lots of Everton fans worried about their growing injury list. No news on the team as yet, but I am hearing whispers that John Parrott will be partnering David Moyes in the centre of defence, with Kevin Sheedy coming into the midfield alongside Nicola from Girls Aloud.

From Charlie in Guildford, via text: "Cheesy, I've escaped to the quiet comfort of live text from my sister's out-of-control 15th birthday party. Hope Spurs are thrashed!"

1422: By the way, many thanks to 'Dangerous' Dave Ornstein for his half-time report on Scunthorpe-Coventry. And if there are any mistakes, you now know who to direct your complaints to.

From Matty Stevo, Rainhill, via text: "Taking my boots to Goodison today just as a precautionary measure."

1420: It's the season of good will to all men, including RichtheForest on 606, who's moaning about the lack of Championship chat on here. HERE YOU GO: "Scunthorpe have won just two of their last 11 league games and are yet to keep a clean sheet in a home Championship match this season but, on the evidence of their first-half performance at Glanford Park, they could be about to redress the balance. Nigel Adkins' men lead fellow strugglers Coventry 1-0 at half-time thanks to Gary Hooper's 30th-minute strike. Coventry made a confident start and Leon Best had two clear-cut chances to put his side ahead. Home goalkeeper Joe Murphy was forced off with a knee injury but the Iron gradually improved and, shortly after Martyn Woolford saw a header well saved, the Coventry defence parted to allow Hooper to race clear and open the scoring with a crisp low finish."

1419: Now when I said we could talk about anything...

From anon via text: "I want danyl to win if he doesnt I lose a bet and hav 2 b a slave 2 my girlfriend 4 a day!!!lol"

1412: Not many games means there should be plenty of opportunity for you lot to get involved. We can talk about whatever you want (within reason). If you're in the UK, you can text on 81111. If you're in the world at large, you can text on +44 7786200666. Honestly, that number will be tripping off your tongue before you know it. And then there's always 606 or Twitter.

1408: Also today: Scunthorpe v Coventry in a battle of the Championship strugglers. At half-time, the Iron lead 1-0 through Gary Hooper's goal.

1400: The big four are having a Sunday off. Right now, they're probably just cramming one last roast potato into their gluttonous mouths. Meanwhile, we get to sit back, relax and take in Fulham v Sunderland and Everton v Tottenham. Nice.
