David Ferrer romped to victory over Slovakian Dominic Hrbaty at the Australian Open to set up a tie with either Marin Cilic or Janko Tipsarevic.
The Spaniard, seeded 12th, raced to a 6-2 6-2 6-1 second-round victory over world number 251 Hrbaty in Melbourne.
Serbian third seed Novak Djokovic is set to face France's Jeremy Chardy in the Rod Laver Arena later on Wednesday.
That tie will be followed by Swiss second seed Roger Federer's match against Russian Evgeny Korolev.
