1946: Is there any irony in Ayr United's nickname being "The Honest Men"?
1944: Controversy or what?! The goal happened so quickly, I don't think many of the fans or players realised how it had been scored. Prunty seemed to head it then punch it into the net.
1942: Goal! Kilmarnock 0-1 Ayr United Bryan Prunty scores with, er, his hand. Simon Ford plays a poor ball out of defence, Dean Keenan picks it up and launches a long ball over the top which Prunty raced on to. As Alan Combe came out and Ford closed Prunty down, the Ayr striker leapt and punched the ball into the net.
1940: I went to a Kilmarnock v Ayr match in the early 90s with my pal from Hurlford...and I survived to tell the tale. It was a terrific atmosphere and, yes, the pies were immense.
1938: "I'm stuck in Dubai and can't find a bar to watch the game. How people fail to realise that the Ayrshire Derby is of international importance is beyond me..."

1936: Killie go close! Only a fantastic goal-line clearance by Ayr's Neil McGowan keeps the score at 0-0. Somehow he managed to head it over the bar!
1935: Scotland manager George Burley - a former Ayr player, of course - is in the crowd tonight. We're scratching our heads here: which Ayr players is he considering bringing into the Scotland set-up?
1933: Killie have the first corner of the game, three minutes in, but Ayr clear the danger.
I'm not used to hearing so many fans singing at Rugby Park. This is great!
1931: Quick fact: Ayr have never beaten Killie in a cup game at Rugby Park.
1929: Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies has made just one change from the team who beat Hearts on Saturday. Willie Gibson is in for Danny Invincibile.
Ayr boss Brian Reid has also made one change - midfielder Dean Keenan coming in for Paul Weaver.
1926: Alex Williams, you may know, is the guy who gave referee Steve Conroy a peck on the cheek when he scored that last-minute goal at Somerset Park.
Thankfully, Mr Conroy proved he has a sense of humour and didn't send young Williams off.
1922: This should be a belter of a match. A local derby, a replay, Ayr going well in the Second Division, Killie with seven defeats in eight matches at Rugby Park.
1919: No luck, Alex Williams. The Ayr United striker who scored the late equaliser in the first match 12 days ago has to make do with a place on the bench.
1915: Kilmarnock: Combe, Fowler, Hay, Ford, Wright, Bryson, Gibson, Pascali, Taouil, Russell, Fernandez.
Subs: Rascle, Invincibile, Skelton, Flannigan, Simmonds.
Ayr: Grindlay, Dempsie, McGowan, Walker, Martin Campbell, Stevenson, Keenan, Aitken, Prunty, Gormley, Easton.
Subs: Stewart, Williams, Borris, Agnew, Henderson.
Referee: S Conroy
