Hull won the Australian Ladies Masters last month
|
Australia's Katherine Hull fired a six-under 66 to take a two-shot lead after three rounds of the HSBC Women's Championship in Singapore.
Hull, who won the Australian Ladies Masters last month, hit seven birdies to reach 11 under on a day in which lightning forced a two-hour suspension.
American Angela Stanford (66) was two shots adrift as co-overnight leader Paula Creamer (72) remained six under.
Lorena Ochoa was five under with Karen Stupples the top Briton at two under.
Hull, the joint second-round leader with Creamer, edged clear with just one bogey on the par-four 6th.
"I'd love to shoot another 66 but I'll just stick to the same game plan - hit as many fairways and greens as possible and make as many putts as possible," said Hull.
"The key for me is to stay focused on the process as opposed to trying to shoot a particular score."

606: DEBATE
|
Texan Stanford, who captured the season-opening SBS Open in Hawaii, refused to count out world number one Ochoa, who won last year's event by 11 strokes.
When asked if six strokes was too much for the Mexican to overcome, she replied: "That's like asking if Tiger Woods can come back.
"There's a reason she's the number one player in the world. If she gets on a roll tomorrow then she's got as good a chance as anybody."
Scotland's Catriona Matthew carded a second 73 to slip to two over, while countrywoman Janice Moodie also had a 73 for five over.
Wales's Becky Morgan was 11 over with England's Laura Davies 14 over after adding a level-par 72 to her opening rounds of 81 and 77.
