1955: Charlie Mulgrew flighted in a beautiful cross - is there a player with a better left foot in Scottish football? - which Lee Miller headed against the post. A let-off for Saint Mirren.

1952: "Sandaza did go down very easily there. I wonder if Craig Levein will have anything to say about it!" BBC Scotland commentator Scott Davie on a tackle on Dundee United's Francisco Sandaza.

Levein, of course, has been his usual outspoken self, about what he perceived to be players feigning injury when his side played Hearts on Saturday.

1950: Lee Miller went close there for Aberdeen, trying a cheeky back-heel from a Maguire low cross from the right. The Dons striker just didn't get enough on it, though.

1945: The Falkirk v United match has kicked off three minutes before the game at St Mirren. Both surfaces look ideal - the snow hasn't come as far south as the central belt of Scotland, it appears.

1938: Falkirk boss John Hughes has gone with the same starting line-up that drew at Hibs on Saturday.

Craig Levein has made three changes to his Dundee United side following their 1-0 home defeat by Hearts.

Paul Dixon replaces Danny Grainger at left-back while midfielders Craig Conway and David Robertson are in for Warren Feeney and James Wesolowski.

1934: And the teams for the match at Falkirk are:

Falkirk: Dani Mallo, Bullen, Scobbie, Pressley, Barr, Riera, Cregg, O'Brien, Arfield, Lovell, Higdon.
Subs: Olejnik, Holden, Aafjes, Finnigan, Mitchell, Stewart, Lynch.

Dundee Utd: Zaluska, Caddis, Dixon, Wilkie, Dods, Kovacevic, Buaben, Conway, Gomis, Sandaza, David Robertson.
Subs: McGovern, Dillon, Grainger, Feeney, Daly, Wesolowski, Shala.

1930: So, Scott Cuthbert comes back in to the St Mirren defence. He missed Saturday's 7-0 thrashing at Celtic due to the terms of his loan agreement. Will Haining starts on the bench.

Jack Ross is suspended after his sending off at Parkhead, Gary Mason is a sub and in come David Barron and Craig Dargo.

Aberdeen have made no changes from the side that drew 0-0 with Kilmarnock at the weekend.

1928: Here are teams to take to the splendid surface in Paisley.

St Mirren: Smith, Barron, Potter, Cuthbert, Camara, Murray, Dorman, Brady, Thomson, Dargo, Mehmet.
Subs: Howard, Mason, Haining, Wyness, Hamilton, McGinn, Burns.

Aberdeen: Langfield, Vidal, Diamond, Mair, Mulgrew, Aluko, Severin, Kerr, Maguire, Mackie, Miller.
Subs: Bossu, Considine, Stewart, Jamie Smith, Wright, Young, Duff.

1925: Welcome to tonight's SPL matches at St Mirren Park and the Falkirk Stadium.
