Live text - West Indies v England

Fifth Test, Trinidad (day four):
West Indies 349-4 v England 546-6 dec

England will attempt to claim the final six West Indies wickets quickly on day four of the final Test in Trinidad.

The tourists saw their bid to level the series fade when the Windies avoided the follow-on and closed 197 behind.

Home skipper Chris Gayle scored a century before retiring hurt, but has hinted he could return in this innings.

Even without him, England have to dislodge obdurate left-handers Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Brendan Nash, who have shared an unbroken 146.

1344: Alright team, the Mitchmeister has been inconvenienced by some sort of bother, so (un)luckily for you I'll be your guide until the fanfare rings all around Television Centre to greet Mark's arrival. I see myself as more of a Peter Siddle first change option, pace and bounce rather than the dibbly-dobbly offerings of Andrew McDonald.

1340: Welcome all to the penultimate day of the Test series.
