Cannavaro joined Real Madrid in 2006 from Juventus

Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro has urged his side to be patient in their Champions League showdown with Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday.
Real trail 1-0 thanks to Yossi Benayoun's away goal which means they must score in the second leg to avoid elimination from the competition.
"We have to have a lot of patience, make no mistakes at the back and the goal will surely come," he said.
"A goal could arrive soon or arrive in the last minute."
The 35-year-old Italy international believes that a Real goal could be the key to the Spanish side winning the tie overall.
"If we score we would force Liverpool to come out and play. If they want to win the game they are going to have to play and this is the moment where we could take advantage."

A frustrated Madrid found goalscoring chances hard to come by during the first leg as a well-organised Liverpool held them at bay before Israeli midfielder Benayoun's 82nd-minute strike won the match for the Reds.
Under Rafa Benitez Liverpool have developed an extremely efficient, defensive approach to Europe which Cannavaro believes will be in evidence again at Anfield on Tuesday.
"I'm sure that's how it will be. The best result for them was 1-0 at the Bernabeu because now we have to have a great game, and score a goal."
