Henin through to Den Bosch semis

Henin is targeting a first Wimbledon title in the next month

Justine Henin continued her Wimbledon preparation with a battling win over Germany's Kristina Barrois in the Unicef Open semi-finals.

The Belgian top seed came through 7-5 6-3 to reach the semi-finals on the grass of Den Bosch.

Henin will next face Romania's Alexandra Dulgheru, who beat fourth seed Yaroslava Shvedova 3-6 6-3 6-4.

Fellow Belgian Kirsten Flipkens will take on German seventh seed Andrea Petkovic in the other semi-final.

Flipkens enjoyed a 6-2 6-3 win over Dominika Cibulkova, while Petkovic beat qualifier Sandra Zahlavova 6-2 7-6 (7-5).

In the men's event, Germany's defending champion Benjamin Becker saw off compatriot Simon Greul 6-3 6-1 and will face Serb Janko Tipsarevic in the last four.

Ukraine's world number 71 Sergiy Stakhovsky and experienced Belgian Xavier Malisse made it through to the last four on the other side of the draw.
