Fulham have been short of keepers following an injury to Antti Niemi and Keller will be able to provide vital cover for Tony Warner. "With Antti being injured, it was important we added some strength and depth," said Sanchez. "Kasey is a proven professional with impeccable international and he will be a valuable asset to us over the course of the season." Keller started his career for Portland Timbers before moving to Millwall in 1992, where he made over 150 appearances. He then moved to Leicester City before leaving for Spain in 1999 to join up with Rayo Vallecano. Keller returned to the Premier League after accepting an offer from Tottenham where he made over 80 appearances before losing his first-team place to Paul Robinson. The American said of his return to London: "I am really enthusiastic about this new challenge."
