Inverness strikers Graham Bayne and Dean McDonald are both on track to win their fights to be fit for Saturday's lunchtime kick-off. However, new signing Marius Niculae has been denied a work permit and will have to wait for a second appeal hearing.
On-loan defender Andy Webster and new signing Steven Whittaker are both suspended for Rangers.
Chris Burke misses the trip with an ankle injury, while Thomas Buffel and Steven Smith are long-term casualties.
