British duo Nicola Sanders and Christine Ohuruogu will go for gold in Wednesday's final of the 400m in Osaka.

The pair looked impressive in qualifying on Monday and hopes are high that they can add to GB's medal tally.

Andy Baddeley, who set a new personal best in Sheffield in July, has a chance of a medal in the 1500m.

Elsewhere, American pair Tyson Gay (200m) and Jeremy Wariner (400m) will be hoping to continue their progress to their respective finals.

1125: So, what have you missed so far today? Bad news for Goldie Sayers (javelin), and long jump duo Chris Tomlinson and Greg Rutherford who missed out on their finals. But good news for Andy Turner, who set a new personal best to advance in the 110m hurdles.He will be in action again on Thursday in the semi-finals.

Wednesday sees a real chance for Britain to add to its medal tally. Nicola Sanders and Christine Ohuruogu go in the 400m final. Andy Baddeley goes in the 1500m final while Tom Parsons and Martyn Bernard go in the high jump.

Medals will also be decided in the women's discus and the 100m hurdles where Sweden's Susanna Kallur carries European hopes against the likes of American duo Michelle Perry, the reigning champion, and LoLo Jones and the 2003 champion Perdita Felicien of Canada.
