Aussie Watson back in contention

11-24 September 2007
WORLD TWENTY20, Johannesburg:
Australia v Pakistan

Match starts at 1300 BST on Tuesday

Shane Watson could be fit to return to action in Australia's Super Eight match against Pakistan in Johannesburg.

The all-rounder, who has been suffering a hamstring problem for the past two weeks, is now bowling at "80% pace", according to physio Alex Kountouris.

But coach Tim Nielsen has said Watson is not certain of a starting place in the Australia side on Tuesday.

Nielsen is likely to name the same starting XI which so convincingly beat Bangladesh by nine wickets on Sunday.

Pakistan have games on successive days, facing Sri Lanka on Monday before taking on the Aussies.
