Kalada on 606 1211: It's a glorious day in Monza I am happy to report. I am less happy to report I only know this because I'm looking at it on the TV, rather than bathing under the sun in Italy right now. "Nine podiums in nine races is a tremendous record for a rookie - it's still quite possible for Lewis to win the championship y'know. Is Mr Alonso still blethering on about bias by the way? :D"
dAVE_mANuTD on 606 1200: Ooh, it's all getting a bit tense now isn't it? Just five races left in the season and it could barely be tighter at the top of the drivers' championship. Lewis Hamilton leads the way by five points but, with Fernando Alonso starting from pole today at Monza, the British rookie will have his work cut out to extend - or even protect - that lead. Talking of having your work cut out - Ferrari pair Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen need something really rather special to overhaul their rivals' lead. Brazilian Massa appears to have the best chance today as he starts from third, while Raikkonen will hope his brain stops buzzing long enough after Saturday's crash in practice to make his challenge from fifth on the grid. And, lest we forget, BMW Sauber pair Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica remain in the mix - as does BBC columnist Heikki Kovalainen - so, if you fancy getting in touch and letting us know how you think things will pan out, do so on 606 or via text on 81111.
