1300: Here we go then. I haven't been this excited about a women's football match since seeing six-year-old Jessica Roach mark her debut with a well-taken double last week. Who is going to emerge as today's hero?

1240: Hello everyone, welcome to the semi-final stages of the Women's World Cup. Today's first semi feels like the European play-off, with holders and favourites Germany taking on rivals Norway, who beat them in the 1995 final.

Twelve years is a long time in women's football though and Germany are hot favourites today. But rule Norway out at your peril; they beat Germany in the Algarve Cup in March and drew 2-2 when these sides met in their final World Cup warm-up last month.

Which way will it go? Let me know what you reckon as we prepare for the big kick-off in 20 minutes by dropping me a text on 81111 or get involved in 606.
