Hall, the Falcons' two-time Pro Bowl cornerback, was fined $100,000 for a blowup on the sideline during a Sept. 23 game against the Carolina Panthers. When he received that fine, Hall was told by the Falcons that they would forgive $50,000 if he behaved himself, according to the sources.

On Oct. 24, Hall was highly critical of the organization for its release of veteran nose tackle Grady Jackson. After those comments, the team decided the $50,000 would not be forgiven.

The union has filed a grievance about the fine for the first incident.

Hall met with head coach Bobby Petrino Monday morning to discuss the Oct. 24 criticism.
