A statement on the Leeds website on Monday said: "A compensation package has been agreed, the terms of which will remain confidential." Ramos was confirmed as new Spurs head coach on Saturday, replacing Martin Jol who was sacked on Thursday.
Leeds acting assistant manager Alan Thompson, who deputised for Poyet after it was agreed the Uruguayan would stay away from Saturday's match against Millwall, said: "Leeds United is a big club and you have to get on with it. "Gus has got great experience, he's a great coach, so he will be missed, but I think he is replaceable and things move on."
