AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas quarterback Colt McCoy said Monday he's feeling fine and will be ready to play this weekend against rival Oklahoma.
McCoy left the field with symptoms of a mild concussion late in Saturday's 41-21 loss to Kansas State.
A jarring hit just before halftime left McCoy woozy and sent him to the locker room early. He returned to start the third quarter but was taken out by team doctors in the final minutes of the game. McCoy was 19 of 39 for 200 yards and a touchdown.
It was McCoy's worst game of his career with four interceptions.
McCoy said he's been put through a series of tests by team doctors and is feeling better.
Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
