AUSTIN, Texas --Texas wide receiver Limas Sweed is out for the season.
The Longhorns said Sweed will undergo surgery to repair ligament damage in his left wrist.
The senior caught 19 passes for 306 yards and three touchdowns this season despite the injury.
Sweed says he aggravated the injury again last week and had been in more pain than he had let on.
He has started in 39 straight games and caught a pass in each of the last 24 games.
