Arizona's Olson to take indefinite leave of absence

Arizona coach Lute Olson will take an indefinite leave of absence to deal with a personal matter, Olson's family spokesperson Gordon James told ESPN.com Sunday.

James said that it is not a health issue. He said the 73-year old Olson should be back soon. In the interim, Arizona was expected to announce that assistant Kevin O'Neill would take over beginning with Sunday's exhibition game in Tucson.

James said he wanted the public and media to respect Olson's privacy while dealing with the family matter.
