Arsenal will be without rested captain William Gallas and striker Emmanuel Adebayor but midfielders Cesc Fabregas, Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto are back.

Central defender Philippe Senderos returns after a back injury and Nicklas Bendtner will start up front but full-back Gael Clichy (thigh) is out.

Sevilla leading scorer Luis Fabiano has been passed fit after an ankle problem.

A late decision will be made on whether defender Jose Angel Crespo is ready to play after his fractured cheekbone.

    Sevilla have won the Uefa Cup in the past two seasons. No club has won European trophies in three successive seasons since Liverpool won the 1976 Uefa Cup and the 1977 and 1978 Champions Cups.
