North Carolina moved up to No. 1 and former No. 1 UCLA fell to No. 8 in the latest ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll, released Monday.

The Bruins (7-1) fell from the top perch after their loss to then-No. 8 Texas on Sunday. The Longhorns (7-0) moved up to No. 5 with the win.
No. 6 Washington State, No. 7 Duke, No. 9 Pittsburgh and No. 10 Michigan State rounded out the Top 10. The Spartans moved up from No. 13.
Also dropping in the poll was Texas A&M, which fell to No. 14 from No. 9. The Aggies, previously unbeaten, blew a 20-point lead and lost to then-unranked Arizona on Sunday.
With the win, the Wildcats entered the poll at No. 24. Joining the Top 25 with them was Vanderbilt at No. 25.
Dropping out of the Top 25 were Southern Illinois and USC, formerly No. 23 and No. 24 respectively. The Trojans lost to No. 3 Kansas on Sunday.
Xavier, previously No. 25, moved up to No. 20.
