Mitchell Johnson took five wickets as Australia wrapped up a comfortable 149-run victory over New Zealand in the first Test at the Gabba.
Johnson made light work of the Black Caps batting order after Simon Katich had scored an unbeaten century to put the hosts in control.
New Zealand resumed on 143 for six still needing 184 runs to win.
But Andrew Symonds's caught Daniel Vettori to break the Kiwi captain's key overnight partnership with Ross Taylor.
And the remaining New Zealand wickets tumbled soon afterwards as the visitors failed to even play out an hour on the fourth day.
The world's three leading news agencies are not covering the series due to a dispute with Cricket Australia.
Reuters, Agence France-Presse and Associated Press have suspended all coverage of the 2008-09 season.
Their photographers and reporters did not supply material from within the ground. As a result, we cannot use pictures from the current match.
