 Adams almost joined Yorkshire in 2006

Former Sussex captain Chris Adams is expected to be named as Surrey cricket manager on Wednesday.
Adams captained Sussex for 11 years and led them to three county titles before standing down in September.
The 38-year-old agreed a deal to move to Yorkshire as director of cricket in the summer of 2006, only to have a change of heart and stay at Hove.
Surrey were relegated from the Championship top flight in 2008 and coach Alan Butcher left soon after.
Adams had been in the running for the job of Sussex chief executive after Gus MacKay quit to take up the post of Surrey managing director. However, David Brooks was appointed instead.
