Obinna is happy to learn from Inter's more experienced players - for now
|
The 21-year-old striker joined the Italian side on a four-year deal in August but is yet to fully establish himself in the first team of the Nerazzurri.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Adriano, Julio Cruz and Hernan Crespo all ahead of him in the team's frontline pecking order, he is still determined to bide his time.
"I am aware of the endless speculations in the media about my future but the coach [Jose Mourinho] seems to be very positive towards me," Obinna Nsofor told BBC Sport.
"When you play at a big club you know the competition is very high so that is an extra motivation.

The Nigerian striker has been linked with AS Roma, among other clubs
|
Obinna Nsofor has made just six league appearances for Inter since signing, four of them as a substitute, and scored one brilliant goal against AS Roma in a 4-0 win in October.
There is growing speculation in the Italian media that English Premiership side Everton are back in the hunt for the striker, having attempted to sign him on loan in August.
The Liverpool club - who are currently facing a shortage of attackers -were, however, previously unable to secure a work permit for the former Chievo Verona player.
An Everton spokeswoman declined to comment to BBC Sport about the reported interest.

I know I need to be playing regularly to keep a place in the Nigerian team
Victor Obinna Nsofor

"I have heard of [the interest from] Everton and other clubs through the media here but I am not paying too much attention to that."
He also knows that his failure to play regularly for the Italian champions could cost him a place in the star-studded Nigerian squad.
"I am very satisfied to learn the ropes here and I cannot force myself into the squad," he said.
"But more importantly I know I need to be playing regularly to keep a place in the Nigerian team.
"I will keep fighting and help the team here because playing for a big team comes with its own challenges.
"If you get a chance you need to try and make it count."
