Gomes joined Spurs in the summer

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is keen to bring in a new goalkeeper during the January transfer window.
After a difficult start to the season, Brazilian Heurelho Gomes turned in an impressive display as Spurs drew 0-0 at home with Manchester United.
But Redknapp insisted he wanted to the Brazilian keeper on his toes.
"If he can keep these performances up we haven't got a problem," said Redknapp. "But I'd like to bring in another keeper as cover."
After denying Ji-Sung Park and Cristiano Ronaldo, Gomes flung himself to his left to tip on to the bar a Ryan Giggs free-kick late in the last minute to ensure Spurs earned a point.

"I've got confidence in him," added Redknapp. "Whether I bring another keeper on to the staff is another matter."
Gomes, who joined Spurs in the summer, made his name at Cruzeiro in Brazil before moving to PSV in 2004 where won four Dutch titles.
