Strachan named manager of month

Strachan extended Celtic's run in November to 12 successive wins

Celtic's Gordon Strachan has been named Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League manager of the month for November.

Strachan guided the Parkhead club to six straight SPL wins during the penultimate month of 2008, scoring 13 goals and conceding only one.

Victories over Hearts, Motherwell, Kilmarnock, Hamilton, St Mirren and Inverness CT saw the reigning champions go seven points clear at the top.

Celtic have won 12 league games in a row since losing to Rangers in August.
