Saturday's Heineken Cup pool match between Montauban and Munster has been postponed until Sunday at 1300 GMT on safety grounds because of high winds.
Forecasters have warned of severe storms in south-west France.
An unchanged Munster side will bid to secure a home quarter-final in their final pool match.
A bonus-point win would guarantee the defending champions a last-eight game at their Thomond Park home, though they struggled to beat Montauban there.
"A home quarter-final would be fantastic," said head coach Tony McGahan.
"That's an outcome at the end of the eighty minutes, but we have to navigate through that eighty minutes first."
Montauban may lie bottom of the pool but they have won their last three home games against Sale, Biarritz and Bayonne.
"It's going to be extremely tough because Montauban are an extremely good side at home," added McGahan.
"Their results have been excellent so far this year - they had a good win against Sale there in the Heineken Cup.
"They'll be sticky and they certainly have our number after losing here. Maybe they'll think the result could have gone their way.
"The players certainly know what is at stake and they certainly know that their standards and the way they perform are always on show.
"They're very motivated to finish off this campaign very well, because as we know the internationals will depart for the Six Nations.
"We'll split up soon, so it's important that we maintain and finish on a real high."
