1148: "I do love FA Cup third-round day. I'm heading to Ninian Park later, it's a sell out and should be a electric atmosphere. Bring on Wembley!! (yes, I know I'm being optimistic)"

1145: Right about now, the referee is inspecting the pitch at St Andrews, where a frosty pitch threatens Birmingham v Wolves.

1143: "I was feeling the magic and just about to leave home but Cheltenham v Donny Rovers has just been called off. At least Cheltenham are in the fourth-round draw!"
Greg, Basingstoke, via text on 81111

1141: Now I know exactly what some of you may be thinking: why isn't my team's tie at the top of this page? Well, that's because I have not yet developed fingers faster than the speed of light - but trust me, I am working on it. In the mean time, you'll have to settle for goalflashes on selected 3pm ties. But don't panic, I'll also be providing regular updates from the others, with the help of my glamorous assistant, BBC Sport's very own Mr FA Cup, Chris Bevan.

1138: Your contributions, as always, are very, very welcome on 606 or via text on 81111, especially if you're actually off to a game. Talking of which, if you're about to set off for Cheltenham, sit down, have a cup of tea, stick the telly on, their game against Doncaster is off.

1134: Yes, today is the day we meet the next Doctor Who (1735 GMT BBC1, folks)Â… but before that, it's FA Cup third-round day, featuring a record eight non-league sides. The lowest-placed side are Eastwood Town, who are in the Unibond League Premier Division. They're up against Kettering of the Blue Square Premier, meaning at least one non-league team will get to the fourth round.

1130: Morning everyone. Can you feel it? The magic?
