Former Wales coach Scott Johnson is in line to take over as coach of the Ospreys, according to reports.
The Welsh region have made an approach for the Australian, who is currently coaching the USA Eagles national side.
USA Rugby's chief executive officer Nigel Melville told the Daily Mail: "We can confirm we have received a written request for Scott from the Ospreys.
"That is under consideration and will be put to the board at the earliest available opportunity."
