Cardiff City 0-3 Sheff Utd

Gabor Gyepes fouls Darius Henderson to concede the first-half penalty
Gabor Gyepes's foul on Henderson that led to United's first goal

Cardiff's Championship play-off bid was dented as the nine-man Bluebirds were well beaten by rivals Sheffield United.

Cardiff's Gabor Gyepes was dismissed by referee Paul Taylor after he hauled down Darius Henderson in the box and David Cotterill fired home the penalty.

The hosts were reduced to nine men when top-scorer Ross McCormack was dismissed for an alleged elbow on Kyle Naughton.

Jamie Ward scored from Cotterill's cute cross before Stephen Quinn's late strike secured a big win for United.
