Collins says Wales must play with confidence against Germany

James Collins says Wales need a change of attitude following Saturday's 2-0 World Cup qualifying defeat by Finland.
The West Ham defender says no-one in the Wales camp should give up on the campaign ahead of Wednesday's game with Germany at the Millennium Stadium.
He said: "Maybe [we need] a change of attitude to what we're trying to do.
"Everyone is technically good on the ball and we are knocking it about lovely but we have not got that final cutting edge."
Collins, who went close with a diving header in the game against Finland, added: "Obviously, Bellers [captain Craig Bellamy] is up there on his own working his socks off as usual and it's tough - it's tough to get a clear-cut chance.

"It was only me who got a header on goal, which is disappointing when you're playing at home in a game you've got to win.
"I played with him at West Ham for a year and I don't think I've seen a player work as hard as he does.
"Obviously, it's frustrating for him that he's not getting the ball and we need to look at it."
Collins, 25, conceded Wales' chances of qualifying are not good but insisted: "You never say never. As long the points are still there you're not going to say you're not going to qualify but it's a massive dent to us [losing against Finland].
"We came into the game confident, started off really well and come away with a loss but as long as the points are there we'll still believe we've got a chance."
It's all right having all the possession in the world and knocking it about but we're not getting the end product at the minute and something has got to be looked at

Collins says Wales, who lost 1-0 to Germany in October, despite a battling display, must be confident against them in midweek.
He confirmed: "As long as we go into it with a bit of confidence and playing like we did over there, there's no reason we can't get a result."
However, on the back of the defeat by Finland, Collins says Wales must find a way to capitalise on their efforts.
He stated: "We had all the possession in the world [against Finland]. In the first 40 minutes it looked like there was only one team going to win it.
"And then a bit of a sloppy goal, maybe not concentrating at the back and we've paid for it really.
"It's all right having all the possession in the world and knocking it about but we're not getting the end product at the minute and something has got to be looked at."
Collins, who played his first game in five weeks at the weekend following a hamstring injury, added: "I'm fine. I was obviously very tired towards the end of the game but that was to be expected. I was just happy to get through it."
