A World Cup winner in 2000, Tiffen was a losing finalist in 2009

New Zealand captain Haidee Tiffen, a veteran of three Women's World Cups, has retired from cricket.
The all-rounder, 29, scored 2,919 runs and took 49 wickets in 117 one-day internationals since her debut in 1999.
Having won the World Cup in 2000, she skippered the White Ferns to the 2009 final earlier this month, where they were beaten by England.
"I have not taken this decision lightly - it's something I've been thinking about for a while now," said Tiffen.
"I have so many amazing memories of the game - both successful highs and some gut-wrenching lows - but I know the experience of them all has shaped the person I am today."
