Montgomerie struggles in Seville

Colin Montgomerie said he his game was "completely out of sync" after slipping down the leaderboard on day two of the Andalucian Open in Seville.

The Scot, playing in his 500th European Tour event as a professional, was one shot off the lead after the first day.

But he could only manage a level-par 72 on Friday and, stuck on his overnight five under, was four shots behind new leader Marcus Siem of Germany.

"I played very badly and 72 is what you get when you play that way," he said.

England's Graeme Storm was tied for second after a fine round of 66.

More soon.
