Chabal made his international debut for France in 2000

Sale forward Sebastien Chabal has agreed a three-year contract with newly promoted French club Racing Metro.
The powerful 31-year-old joined Sale in 2004 and helped them to the Premiership in 2006, but was allowed to leave with a year remaining on his contract.
He will link up with France captain Lionel Nallet, who was a team-mate of his at Bourgoin until 2003, and who has also agreed a three-year deal.
Racing secured a place in the Top 14 for the first time last weekend.
Formed in 2001 after five-time champions Racing Club de France merged with US Metro, Racing Metro are regarded as the big-spending club in French rugby.

Some reports suggested that Chabal would be paid 1.2m euros per year, but club president Jacky Lorenzetti denied those figures.
"We have been engaged for several months now in signing excellent players and not stars, because we have a habit of saying that with us there is not one individual star, it is the team that counts," he said.
Sources close to the club have revealed the next transfer target could be South Africa international back Francois Steyn from Coastal Sharks.
