New Zealand suffered a setback in their bid to square the series against India as they were dismissed for 197 on day two of the third Test in Wellington.

A five-wicket haul by Zaheer Kahn and six catches for captain Mahendra Dhoni saw the hosts bowled out in just 65 to leave them 182 runs in arrears.

India then reached 51-1 at stumps in their second innings to take an overall lead of 233.

Gautam Gambhir was 28 not out and Rahul Dravid was on nine at close of play.
