By David McDaid

1243: "How cool is Colin Nish? After smashing one in from 25 yards he just rolls in his and Hibernian's second." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Craig Paterson at Tannadice.

1242: GOAL! Dundee United 0-2 Hibernian

Nish again! Not quite as spectacular as the first, a simple side-footer from six yards. What a start to this match.

1240: The ball hardly spun after it left the beanpole striker's right boot - and seemed to accelerate as is fizzed past the Polish keeper.

1239: What a goal that was!!! Colin Nish picked up a loose ball from Feeney and absolutely HAMMERED it past Lukasz Zaluska from all of 25 yards.

1238: GOAL! Dundee United 0-1 Hibernian

1237: And Daly's off after around four minutes. Warren Feeney is the man to take his place up front.

Let's hope Daly's injury isn't too serious.

1235: Hibs' Alan O'Brien lets Craig Conway know he's got his card marked with hard tackle early on.

And the stretcher's on already! Jon Daly of Dundee United is flat out on the ground, clutching his head in despair.

Daly's had lots of problems with his knee over the last season or so.

1233: A few minutes late, but we're under way at Tannadice! Watching on from the stand is none other than the Scotland manager George Burley.

1228: Okay, so what do you make of what's happened with Barry Ferguson and Allan McGregor?
Banned for life from playing for Scotland, suspended without pay for two weeks at Rangers... and rumblings about their long term futures at the Glasgow club.

Do you think it's a case of just deserts, or overreaction? My Sport

1226: So what do you make of the teams? Tell us here: My Sport

1225: TEAMS

Dundee United: Zaluska, Dillon, Wilkie, Kenneth, Dixon, Wesolowski, Buaben, Gomis, Conway, Daly, Sandaza.
Subs: McGovern, Caddis, Feeney, David Robertson, Swanson, Kovacevic, Goodwillie.

Hibernian: Szamotulski, Bamba, Hogg, Jones, Stevenson, Riordan, Rankin, Rosa, O'Brien, Nish, Fletcher.
Subs: Ma-Kalambay, van Zanten, Murray, Keenan, Thicot, Chisholm, Johansson.

Referee: Eddie Smith

1219: Mixu Paatelainen's come in for plenty of stick this season, but the Hibs boss has every reason to look smug this afternoon after picking up the Manager of the Month award for March.

His counterpart Craig Levein says he hopes the 'Manager of the Month curse' will strike the Finn today.

1217: So a decent match in prospect at Tannadice. Only Four points separate the teams, and a quick look at results this season show both have one victory each. Both times the home team has come out on top. Could be a close one.

Although, maybe now I've said that there'll be four goals in it.

1211: Good afternoon one and all!

Well, well, well... What. A. Week!!

There's been a little bit of everything - disappointment for Scotland in Amsterdam, joy against Iceland, and a bit fat slice of scandal topped with a hefty dollop of outrage.

You'd be forgiven for forgetting that there are actually five SPL matches on today.

First up, I'll be on hand to take you through Dundee United against Hibernian.

The Terrors would climb into a Europa League spot should they win - but they'll have a tough job against an in-form Hibs side.

Please send in your comments on today's action, and your opinions on 'booze-gate' to My Sport or by text on 80295

Oh! And I'd be really grateful if you could give me a tip for the Grand National. Please?
