 Toyota will not appeal the time penalty given to Jarno Trulli in Australia

Toyota will not pursue their appeal against the time penalty given to Jarno Trulli at the Australian Grand Prix.
The penalty was issued for overtaking Lewis Hamilton in a safety car period.
The Italian crossed the line third in Melbourne but was given a 25-second penalty by race stewards, which saw him drop down to 12th position.
"Having considered recent judgements of the International Court of Appeal, it is believed any appeal will be rejected," said a Toyota statement.
Toyota have decided not to appeal after studying recent Formula 1 precedents.
In 2008, McLaren appealed against a time penalty given to Lewis Hamilton for passing Kimi Raikkonen after cutting a chicane at the Belgian Grand Prix.

McLaren took their case to the International Court of Appeal but the penalty was upheld.
Toyota believe a procedural point would prevent any appeal from being successful, pointing to article 152, paragraph 5 of the sporting code, which says "Penalties of driving through or stopping in pit lanes together with certain penalties specified in FIA Championship regulations where this is expressly stated, are not susceptible to appeal."
"Based on this Toyota Motorsport has decided it would serve no benefit to pursue this course of action," continued the team statement.
The yellow safety flags came out after a collision between Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel and Robert Kubica in his BMW Sauber.
"As far as Toyota is concerned, the case is now closed and we move on to this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix."
