FA hits Bikey with conduct charge

Andre Bikey
Bikey's dismissal at Turf Moor saw him miss Tuesday's defeat by Burnley

Reading defender Andre Bikey has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association.

It follows the Cameroon international's sending off in the play-off semi-final first leg against Burnley on Saturday.

He was dismissed for a stamp on Robbie Blake and threw his shirt to the ground - landing him a four-game ban.

The 24-year-old has until 1800 BST on Wednesday to admit or deny the charge and a Regulatory Commission will hear the case on Thursday 21 May.

Bikey missed the second leg of the semi-final, which Reading lost 2-0 to go down 3-0 on aggregate, and the rest of the ban will be carried over into next season.
