Collingwood ready for 'fun' before Ashes
Skipper Paul Collingwood says England are in confident spirits ahead of Friday's ICC World Twenty20 opener.
The hosts face the Netherlands at Lord's following a convincing one-day series win over West Indies.
"There is a positive vibe. When you're winning there is always the confidence around the team," he told BBC Sport.
"We realise we will have to play at our maximum best to win the competition. It is all about momentum. If we get to the semi-finals, then anything can happen."
England struggled in their opening warm-up match on Tuesday at Trent Bridge with a limp six-wicket victory over Scotland.
However, the team hit back with a lively display on Wednesday, in a nine-wicket win over West Indies with Luke Wright starring at the crease with an unbeaten 75 off 48 balls including eight fours and five sixes.

Despite the absence of the injured Andrew Flintoff, Collingwood, who led England in the inaugural World Twenty20 in South Africa in 2007, believes the team has the talent to impress.
"The balance of the side is very good," the Durham all-rounder added.
"We've got great seamers, got a great spinner in (Graeme) Swann, we are very versatile with our batting and we have guys who can innovate with their shots."
After winning just once in five matches two years ago, England will begin this tournament with games against the Netherlands and Pakistan.
With no England cricket team having won an ICC tournament before, there are high hopes among the squad, helped by the current form of some of the players.
Batsman Ravi Bopara impressed in the IPL as well as becoming only the fifth Englishman to score three successive Test centuries recently, pace bowlers Stuart Broad and James Anderson have shone with the ball, and Kevin Pietersen is fit again.
"There are areas we have to work on but it has been a solid start," Collingwood said.
"We have an important game against the Netherlands and then we have a very difficult game against Pakistan.
"Twenty20 cricket actually brings the teams closer together. Anything can happen.
"But we are not looking too far ahead. There is a lot of belief in the side but we don't want to get carried away with ourselves."
