Kenny Perry held off late charges by fellow Americans Paul Goydos and David Toms to win the Travelers Championship by three shots in Connecticut.
The 48-year-old, who began the day a stroke off the pace, completed a tournament record total of 258 with a flawless seven-under par round of 63.
Toms birdied two of the last four holes for a 65 to tie second with 54-hole leader Goydos, who closed with a 67.
A final round 66 lifted Sergio Garcia to joint 43rd on seven-under overall.
Perry birdied four of the last nine holes on a sun-drenched afternoon to secure his 14th PGA Tour title.

American Hunter Mahan, the 2007 champion, signed off with a 64 to share fourth place at 17 under with compatriots Ben Curtis and Ryan Moore, who shot 65 and 64 respectively.
Englishman Justin Rose failed to make the cut of three under after initial rounds of 68 and 70.
