Pakistan on course for Galle win

Pakistan require a further 97 to win the first Test in Galle after closing day three against Sri Lanka on 71-2.

Sri Lanka lost opener Malinda Warnapura in the second over and were quickly dismissed for 217 in the 57th over.

Tharanga Paranavitana hit five fours in his 49 but debutants Mohammad Aamer and Saeed Amjal took three wickets apiece.

Chasing 168, Pakistan lost Khurram Manzoor and skipper Younus Khan in consecutive overs but Salman Butt fired four boundaries and was unbeaten on 28.
