Rafael Cabrera Bello plays a shot at the Austrian Open
Cabrera Bello became only the third player to shoot a final-round 60 to win on the European Tour

Spaniard Rafael Cabrera Bello fired a European Tour record-equalling 60 to overhaul long-time leader Benn Barham and win the Austrian Open in Vienna.

The 25-year-old had a chance to record the Tour's first-ever 59 but missed a 30-foot eagle putt on the final green.

After tapping in for his 11th birdie he was two in front of Barham, who had led from the first round onwards.

The Englishman then birdied the 16th, but missed an 18-footer on the last to finish one shot behind on 19 under par.

The round of 60 that earned Cabrera Bello his first Tour win was the 14th on the European Tour, but only the third time someone had achieved it on the final day and won
