Former Hibernian midfielder and free agent Guillaume Beuzelin is training with Hamilton Accies with a view to agreeing a permanent deal.

Hamilton manager Billy Reid told BBC Scotland he hoped the club would agree terms with the 29-year-old Frenchman.

"Guillaume would be a great addition and would bring quality to the team. He's a fantastic player," Reid added.

Beuzelin, who left Coventry City in the summer, had been training with Tony Mowbray's Celtic recently.

Mowbray brought the midfielder to Scottish football, while manager at Hibs, when he signed him from French side Le Havre in July 2004.

Beuzelin made 117 appearances in his four seasons at Easter Road, netting 10 goals.

He then moved to English Championship outfit Coventry City in June 2008 but is now looking for a new club.
