Vick is a three-times All-Pro

Michael Vick made a low-key return to NFL action as Philadelphia Eagles recorded a 34-14 win over Kansas City.

The quarterback, who had not played in a regular-season game since December 2006, rushed once for seven yards and was incomplete in two pass attempts.

The 29-year-old Vick was only released from jail in May after being sentenced in 2007 to 23 months in prison for bankrolling a dog-fighting ring.

The former Atlanta Falcons player has a two-year contract with Philadelphia.

Kevin Kolb started at quarterback for the Eagles and completed 24 of 34 passes for 327 yards and two touchdowns.
