Play has been postponed for the day on all three courses at the Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland.

St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns were all deemed unplayable because of high winds, with gusts forecast to reach around 70mph later on Saturday.

Organisers have now cancelled the day's play at the celebrity pro-am event, with Saturday's third-round tee times transferred to Sunday.

The final round will now take place at St Andrews on Monday.

The Met Office has issued a warning of "severe or extreme weather" for Saturday affecting an area stretching from Tayside to Cumbria and Northumberland.

More to follow.
